Comments are currently available through portions of the Wolves & Fire Studio blog, including Flags & Consequences.

Visitors do not currently need to become site members to comment. Information intentionally included in a public comment, such as a username, display name, comment text, or other information the commenter chooses to publish, may be visible to other visitors. W&F uses automated and rule-based moderation tools to help identify spam and comments containing certain links, media, attachments, or patterns resembling personal information. Flagged comments may be held for review before publication. Wolves & Fire Studio reserves the right to review, approve, hide, remove, or otherwise moderate comments for reasons including spam, threats, harassment, unlawful content, inappropriate disclosure of personal information, security concerns, or other misuse. Commenters should not publish sensitive personal information about themselves or other people.

Like most websites, wolvesandfirestudio.com relies on technical infrastructure that may automatically process information when a visitor accesses the site. This may include information such as:

Wolves & Fire Studio is hosted on Wix and uses Wix Analytics to understand website performance and readership.

W&F does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or Google Tag Manager.

Wolves & Fire Studio uses Google Search Console to understand how W&F content performs in Google Search. Search Console provides information such as search impressions, clicks, search queries, pages appearing in search results, click-through rates, average search position, and certain aggregated geographic or device information. Google describes Search Console as a tool for measuring how often people see or click pages in Google Search and how a website performs there.

W&F uses this information for search visibility, indexing, site maintenance, and understanding how readers discover published work.

Wolves & Fire Studio and the services used to operate the website may use cookies and similar technologies.

Wix states that its consent logs can contain information such as a visitor's IP address, device, date and time, and the categories the visitor accepted or refused.

Wolves & Fire Studio uses third-party technology, including PDF Viewer Pro, to display publications and documents through the website. An ordinary external link does not mean that the third-party service is embedded into W&F or that W&F controls that service. Once a visitor leaves wolvesandfirestudio.com, the destination website's own privacy practices and terms apply. Wolves & Fire Studio is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of independently operated third-party websites.

Editorial responsibility for W&F's published work remains with Wolves & Fire Studio.

Information provided to Wolves & Fire Studio may be stored through systems used for W&F operations, including:

  • local password-protected computing devices;

  • private Google Drive storage;

Their processing is part of providing technical services and is not a sale of personal information by Wolves & Fire Studio. W&F may disclose information when it reasonably believes disclosure is required by applicable law, valid legal process, court order, or another legally enforceable obligation.

Security

Wolves & Fire Studio uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to its current operations. These practices include measures such as password protection, multifactor authentication where available, device security through Windows security tools, restricted access to private cloud storage, and backups. No method of electronic transmission, storage, or website operation can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If W&F becomes aware of a suspected security incident affecting personal information, it may take reasonable steps to investigate and contain the incident, consult qualified legal or technical professionals when appropriate, and provide notifications when required by applicable law.

Wolves & Fire Studio is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
